CHOCOLATE MAKING WORKSHOPS
All classes are all hands-on and participants take home a free box of handmade truffles.
TRUFFLES
- This 2-hour class demonstrates how to:
- Make ganache (the cream & chocolate centers).
- Fill truffles.
- Hand dip chocolates.
- Make truffles using plastic & polycarbonate molds.
- Use magnetic molds & cocoa butter transfer sheets.
- Explore various decorating techniques.
BEYOND TRUFFLES
Learn how to:
- Dip fresh & candied fruit, pretzels,crackers and more.
- Make versatile & delicious chocolate bark.
- Use blister packs, chablons (rubber stencils) and molds to make chocolate decorations, garnishes, spoons, bowls, cups, boxes & batons.
CLASS INFORMATION
- Minimum 2 persons, maximum 6 persons per class.
- Classes are held Saturdays 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 4 - 6 p.m. from October 2 through December (except Christmas). When registering for a class, one can request the specific time and date.
- Classes can also be arranged for Friday afternoons/evenings or during the day on Sundays, with a minimum of 2 students.
- Workshops are suitable for beginners and for those with some working knowledge of chocolate.
- Casual clothes and comfortable shoes are recommended.
- Children must be registered and accompanied by a paying adult.
FEES : $45 per class (Allow 2 hours per class)
